Patra Pinda Sweda Theraphy
Patra Pinda Sweda is a classical Ayurvedic fomentation (Swedana) therapy in which selected medicinal leaves such as Nirgundi, Eranda (castor), Tamarind, and Arka are fried in herbal oil and tied into a bolus (pottali). The warm herbal bolus is then applied over the affected part of the body with gentle pressure and circular movements. The therapy produces therapeutic heat along with the pharmacological action of the herbs, leading to relief from pain, stiffness, inflammation, and muscle spasm
